     The SS offices were on either side of the gate.  Guards in the tower shot without warning anyone who approached the fence. This is the inside view of the main gate.

This is the same building, but the picture was taken from the outside of the camp looking in.

The SS slogan "Arbeit Macht Frei" means "Work Makes You Free."
